Embutidos Munar, founded in 1944 in Felanitx, by Jaume Munar Prohens, moved to Porreres in 1995 for expansion and modernization of its facilities, which are approved at European level. Keep producing their products according to traditional family formulas.
The “Pates Munar” history goes back to the foundation of the company, when the wife of our founder, Rosa Masot, created the original formula of “Paté Artesano Munar”. Since then we have continued to develop, from father to son, all our pâtés respecting the secret that we passed: the use of meats of the highest quality and a carefully selected and balanced mix of spices.
After the “Paté Artesano”, we created the “Paté Clásico”, with balanced and smooth flavor. Followed, years later, by “Paté Casero”, including Sherry wine in its composition which gives an intense and complex flavor. Finally, we completed our range of pâtés with the “Paté Picante”, able to satisfy lovers of spicy flavors without hiding any of the nuances of our pâtés.
All Munar pâtés are gluten free and some of them are also lactose free. If anything defines and identifies our pâtés, is its distinctly traditional and authentic character. In all cases, the consumer can appreciate the natural flavors and textures of each one of the ingredients they contain, away from the artificiality of most commercial pâtés you may find in the market.

The “Paté Clásico Munar” was conceived after the “Artesano”.
